Lousy design

This easel is lousy. It does not stay at the angle you place it to work. It won't tighten down. You have to hold with one hand and paint with the other or it moves on you. Its no fun painting and having the canvas tilt away from you. It also does not hold smaller canvas very well. The rock into the void spaces while you work. I have had to buy a large board to sit on the easel at all times for the canvas to rest against. I contacted the company when I realized these problems and they said "they were still working out the kinks". That doesn't help me or the money I spent on this item. They also said they would send me some wood painting panels for my troubles and I never got them either. This was over two years ago. I would not buy from this company ever again.

It was a Xmas present from my loving family. I was thrilled. I love painting and they love my paintings and they proved just how much by buying me the most elegant easel they could find.
