American Easels painting panels, our alternative to
the standard canvas, give you a firm painting surface,
no flexing or stretching as standard canvases do.
Our panels are constructed of a smooth solid wood cradle
(frame around the back) for strength and rigidity and a
top quality birch face.
Smooth sanded edges allow your painting to flow beyond
the face of your work.
Having a cradled back ensures no warping and makes
for easy hanging.
Choose from our FLAT (7/8” cradle) or DEEP (1 5/8” cradle)
Panels do not need to be primered however if you
do choose to use any gesso you wish.
